About Our Admissions

The Junior School operates as a day school in the Asia One Building on Rokko Island, Kobe. In 2028, the Senior School campus will open on Rokko Mountain from grades 6 and above. The junior school for grades 1 to 5 will remain in Kobe.

Admissions Policy
Admissions Process
The admissions process at NLCS Kobe is designed to help families find the best fit for their child.
Grades 1 – 6 are already open, with Grade 7 opening in August 2026 and Grade 8 in August 2027.
Initial Enquiry
Start by contacting our Admissions team for an initial consultation. Our team will supply detailed information about the school, curriculum, and the online application process.
Application Submission
Applications to NLCS Kobe are submitted online via the ‘OpenApply’ portal. We recommend that parents use a device with a larger screen such as a computer, notebook or table.
Assessment
We have different admissions assessments depending on the age of your child. The Principal will be fully involved in the process and make the final decision. We want your child to be as relaxed as possible and to enjoy the process!
Offers
Once the admissions assessments are complete, we will advise you of the decision.
Enrolment
Upon acceptance of an offer, our Admissions team will contact you so that your child can be fully prepared for and enjoy a smooth transition into the NLCS Kobe school community.
